Panther’s Gaze – Stone Dice Set

This set is carved from cat’s eye stone, known for its distinctive optical effect called chatoyancy — a soft band of light that appears to move across the surface when the die is tilted. The effect is more pronounced in darker tones, creating a subtle line that glides across each face as the angle changes.

The color is a rich cobalt blue with visible silk-like striations inside the stone. These internal fibers are what produce the moving light band, giving the dice a layered look without transparency. Instead of clear refraction, the material offers a smooth, satin-like glow.
