Del Toro Tarot Deck turns cinematic monsters, relics and haunted figures into a disciplined 78-card reading system. Tomás Hijo’s carved-line imagery gives every draw the weight of an old warning pressed into paper.

This deck reimagines the Major and Minor Arcana through themes and characters associated with Guillermo del Toro’s filmography and unique style. Its palette is tightly controlled: soot black, bone white, aged ochre, ember red and the occasional muted green. Dense hatching, woodcut-like contours and distressed title panels frame the figures, while the backs use a black field with mirrored red-and-gold flames, skulls, eyes and horned forms. Since the backs aren’t entirely symmetrical, they reveal upright or reversed orientation before the card is turned.

Rounded corners and a matte, velvety surface give the deck a substantial, controlled feel. The deck is sized like a classic playing card deck, making it more comfortable for beginners and smaller hands. The stock is suitable for regular use, shuffles and spreads.
